Bell Helicopter has delivered three Bell 505 Jet Ranger X aircraft to three undisclosed Canadian customers, Textron announced on 15 June.

The three customers accepted delivery of their aircraft at Bell Helicopter’s facility in Mirabel last week. The aircraft are configured for corporate and utility missions.

The Bell 505 is a five-seat aircraft designed to operate at a cruise speed of 125 knots and carry a useful load of up to 1,500lbs, to a range of 360 nautical miles.

The aircraft received type certification from Transport Canada Civil Aviation in December 2016 and Federal Aviation Administration certification in June 2017.

Jason Moir, regional sales manager, Bell Helicopter Textron Canada, said: ‘The Bell 505 Jet Ranger X is a very economical and highly versatile machine. It has found a niche among a large base of customers who want an aircraft capable of meeting their various lifestyle needs. Its adaptability makes it the ideal aircraft for private owners looking at it as a multi-purpose tool and is the perfect mix of luxury, utility and recreation.’
