DART Helicopter Services has announced that their affiliated partner, DART Aerospace Ltd., has added the Agusta Westland AW119 MKII aircraft to its FAA certifications for the Bearpaw, Heli-Access Step, Cargo Mirror Vertical Reference Bubble Window and Flat Window. DART has also applied to the FAA to add the AW119 MKII to the STC for their Heli-Utility Basket.

Following the October, 2007 FAA type certification of the AW119 MKII aircraft, DART immediately began applications to add this model to their existing STC’s.

To date, DART has received approval to add the AW119 MKII to their FAA STC’s for:

Bearpaw Kit
Heli-Access-Kit
Cargo Mirror
Vertical Reference Bubble Window
Flat Window

In addition, DART has already added the AW119MKII to the EASA certification of their Heli-Access-Step™ and will be making applications to update their EASA STC’s for the Bearpaw, Step, Mirror and Windows.

“It is DART’s mission to be able to offer the widest variety of products of the most markets possible.  When the MKII received its Type Certification first in Europe and then in the US, DART immediately began a co-operative effort with Agusta to add the AW119 MKII to all of our existing STC’s” Quote by Bill Beckett, General Manager of DART Aerospace Ltd.
