Airbus Helicopters receives Brazil H160 order
Airbus Helicopters has received an order from an undisclosed Brazilian customer for one H160 helicopter, the company announced on 3 April.
This is the first order the company has received for the H160 from a Latin American customer. The helicopter will be used for private and business aviation operations.
The H160 is designed to support a range of missions, including oil and gas passenger transport, emergency medical services or public services. The helicopter offers a comfortable flight experience due to the panoramic views provided by its large cabin windows, low sound levels and smooth flight even at high speeds.
Its large windshield, lateral and floor level windows allow pilots to see below the aircraft when landing. This is combined with the visibility provided by the aircraft’s cameras that can be displayed on one of the four multi-functional displays in the cockpit.
Airbus Helicopters’ digital avionics suite, Helionix, provides safety to the aircraft by reducing pilot workload. Providing the right information at the right time, along with the H160’s integrated automatic functions, allows the pilot to concentrate on the mission.
