US sees threats to global power projection

The United States is facing threats to its ability to project power on a global basis. That was one of the messages from 15 May military keynote address by LTG Stephen Lyons, US Army, director for logistics (J-4), Joint Chiefs of Staff. 

Speaking in Tampa, Florida to the 34th annual government/industry National Logistics Forum, sponsored by the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), Lyons emphasised that the recently released unclassified National Defense Strategy summary specifically identifies the need for ‘resilient and agile logistics'.
