US services refine autonomous aerial resupply needs

The US Army and marine corps have announced plans for a three-day industry event during which the two services will exchange data with industry regarding the Joint Tactical Autonomous Aerial Resupply System (JTAARS), Autonomous Aerial Resupply Concept

The upcoming gathering was outlined in a 26 February 2019 special notice released in support of the Requirements Development and Integration branch of the US Army Futures Command at Fort Lee, Virginia.

The industry data exchange event will take place at Army Logistics University, during the period 26-28 March. Stated objectives are to: ‘begin dialogue and exchange data between government proponent capability
