Saudis renew army aviation maintenance contract

DynCorp remains industry partner for maintenance support to Royal Saudi Land Forces Aviation Command.

DynCorp International will continue to provide maintenance support services for the Royal Saudi Land Forces Aviation Command (RSLFAC) under a new $27.7 million FMS contract.

Work will be performed in Saudi Arabia for completion on 31 July 2022.

The existing contract for Dyncorp (including three option years) from US Army Contracting Command expires on 31 January.

The RSLFAC inventory comprises UAVs for reconnaissance and strike missions, as well as the following helicopter types: Boeing AH-64D Longbow, Bell OH-58D Kiowa Warrior and Sikorsky UH-60L Black Hawk.

Eight Boeing CH-47F Chinooks are also on order, notes Shephard Defence Insight.
