Turkey seeks new replenishment tankers for fast attack craft
The Turkish Presidency of Defense Industries has released an RfP for two new replenishment tanker vessels.
Turkey wants to buy two ships with an option for two more. According to the RfP document, the main mission of these ships will be to provide fuel for Yıldız-class, Doğan-class, Rüzgar-class and Kilic-class fast attack craft (FAC) in service with the Turkish Naval Forces.
Only shipyards based in Turkey are eligible to respond to the RfP, which has a deadline of 15 March 2021.
