A400M overcomes engine problems

The A400M is ‘back on track’ following engine problems last year, according to Airbus Military, as the company prepares to deliver the first aircraft to the French Air Force in coming weeks.

Speaking to a media briefing on 30 May, Cedric Gautier, head of the programme at Airbus Military, said following metallic chips being found in the TP400 engine last year, the problem has now been fixed and the programme was running to current plans
