Farnborough 2012: Aero Sekur exhibits new portable MRO facility

Aero Sekur has introduced its inflatable controlled-environment maintenance enclosure for the first time at the Farnborough International Airshow.

The company has experience in developing maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) tents, but the new addition of environment conditioning in the tent has been available for some 18 months, and is operational with an undisclosed US customer.

'The whole point is if you're doing maintenance on an aircraft in a hostile environment you have to provide protection,' Mark Butler, chairman and group CEO of the company told Shephard at the show. 'These are inflatable enclosures coupled with protection or air conditioning.
