Eurosatory: Rheinmetall targets German transports

Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles (RMMV) is offering its latest generation of HX vehicles for the German Bundeswehr’s Unprotected Transport Vehicles (UTF) programme. 

Following the completion of initial pre-qualification for the programme on 25 April, RMMV have been waiting for an invitation to tender, which they expect to see at the end of July. 

The HX family of military-off-the-shelf vehicles include 4x4, 6x6 and 8x8 variants. Featuring a twisted chassis and fording capabilities to depths of up to 1.5m, the logistics trucks are designed to meet the specific needs of the military, with a focus on high mobility.
