Eurosatory 2012: Swedish SF gear up for CASEVAC 'gap filler'

Sweden's special forces (SF) are chasing a requirement for up to 30 Forward Resuscitation Capacity (FRC) systems to 'fill the gap' between point of injury and field hospitals on operations.

According to Saab sales manager for land division, Benny Ståhl, Swedish SF have already received several systems and have options available to procure between 20 and 30 more systems.

Saab's FRC comprises two Hilleberg Atlas tents complete with life support and heart monitoring equipment; operation table and stretcher; heating system and specialist lighting for surgery.
