Eurosatory 2012: Hesco Bastion goes environmental

Hesco Bastion has highlighted the environment sector as a future growth area for its inventory of force protection solutions, company officials have acknowledged.

Speaking to Shephard at Eurosatory, Hesco Bastion sales manager Jake McQueen described how the company was looking to offer up its concertainer systems for flood relief, restoration of wetlands and prevention of coastal erosion.

'This is an ever-increasing market for us,' McQueen said. 'The military market is in decline and we recognise there are several, untapped markets for us to be involved in.'

A major part of this business will be conducted in the US where Hesco
