Eurosatory 2012: Ecuador signs up for SWORD simulation

The Ecuadorian Army has signed up to use MASA Group's SWORD simulation programme as part of its Centre for Simulated Tactical Operational Training (CEOTAS).

Announced at Eurosatory on 11 June, it was revealed that CEOTAS would begin operating SWORD later this month. Contract details remain a closely guarded secret, but MASA described the deal as the 'first phase of a long-term project' encompassing 'large-scale deployment' over the coming months.
