Euronaval 2016: Babcock outline in country partnerships

Engineering services and support prime Babcock International say they will be pushing the concept of in-country partnerships being used to boost maritime capability at the Euronaval exhibition and conference in Paris.

Earlier this year Babcock and the Oman Drydock Company (ODC) announced a MoU to bring that will see a joint venture created to provide engineering services for local and international navies operating in the Middle East.

The service would be provided at the commercial shipyard in Duqm, Oman.

Babcock officials said that such concepts and the expansion of its maritime services portfolio will be a centrepiece for its presence
