Engility has been awarded a $119 million contract to support the US Army's Logistics Modernisation Programme (LMP), the company announced on 28 June.

The contract has a three-year base and a two-year option.

Under the contract, Engility will support the LMP to deliver more advanced process automation, streamlined operations and improved logistics. The company will provide technical expertise and administrative support for programme and product management.

The LMP system is used by more than 30,000 users at over 50 army and Department of Defense (DoD) locations and interfaces with more than 80 DoD systems.

The LMP aims to sustain, monitor, measure and improve the modernised national-level logistics Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution, deliver new and enhanced capabilities via planned increments and support DoD and army ERP integration efforts.
