A new concept to connect military and specialist vehicle operators with OEMs is being launched by Tweddle Group at DSEI.

The company is launching its Connected Intelligent Vehicle Management System (CIVMS) that allows the user access to vehicle management data, maintenance procedures and training modules in a secure environment directly to an iPad, Smartphone or PC even in theatre.

The Tweddle Group, which develops information management systems for the automotive sector, stated: ‘The system is a significant advance on HUMS because in addition to providing diagnostics to the OEM and maintainer, it delivers technical documentation and guidance for fleet support.’
