DSA12: Renault holds out for Asian contracts

Renault Trucks Defense is waiting on a decision from the Singaporean Army with regards to testing that was conducted on its Kerax armoured vehicle some three weeks ago.

Christian Daupras, international marketing manager, Asian area for the company told Shephard on 17 April at DSA 2012 in Kuala Lumpur that the two week testing included slope, side slope and mud assessments, with one week on the 4X4 variant, and one on the 6X6.

'At the moment we are responding to the tender from Singapore for the logistics tactical vehicle, but it is a huge requirement,' he said.
