CN-235-220 aircraft delivered to Nepal
PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Indonesian Aerospace) has delivered the first CN-235-220 aircraft to Nepal, the company announced on 25 November.
The aircraft was ordered in June 2017 under a single unit order.
The aircraft will be deployed by the Nepalese Army in a range of roles, each of which can be supported via quick-change configurations, including troop/paratrooper transport, VIP, medical evacuation, and passenger and cargo transport.
The new CN-235-220 arrived in Nepal on 2 November and underwent a series of post-delivery inspections before being officially handed over to the Nepalese Army.
