Centerra to support US Navy bases
Centerra Group has received an eight-year, $72 million contract from the US Navy to provide Base Operations Support services at multiple locations across Singapore, it was announced on 30 June.
Services under the contract include air operations, such as airfield operations and transient aircraft maintenance; supply chain and logistics services; vehicle and equipment maintenance; and maintenance and operation of facilities located at Sembawang Harbor and Paya Lebar Air Base.
The company will also provide military family housing maintenance and operation; morale, welfare and recreation services on behalf of US military personnel; and roads and grounds maintenance.
The term of the contract begins in fiscal year 2016 and will expire in 2024.
