Cambodia receives donated Kia vehicles

Cambodia held a ceremony on 23 March to celebrate reception of a sizeable batch of second-hand military vehicles from South Korea, all of which were donated.

Minister of Defence Gen Tea Banh and the South Korean Deputy Defence Minister Kang Byung-joo were on hand for the event at the Techo Hun Sen Military Technical Institute.

A total of 14 engineering vehicles (tracked excavators and front-end loaders) and 208 Kia KM420 4x4 light utility vehicles, Kia KM450 4x4 tactical vehicles and Kia KM250 2.5t 6x6 cargo trucks were commissioned into the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces.
