Boeing to provide Morocco with ‘peculiar’ aircraft GSE and other support

Integrated logistics deal also includes initial spares for RMAF.

Boeing has been awarded a a $20.3 million contract modification to provide long-lead integrated logistics support, initial spares and ‘peculiar’ ground support equipment (GSE) for the Royal Moroccan Air Force, the DoD announced on 29 January.

Work will be carried out in Mesa, Arizona for estimated completion by 31 December 2024.

The RMAF has ordered a variety of US-supplied equipment over the years; examples from the Shephard Defence Insight database include the C-130H transport aircraft, F-16V Block 70/72 multi-role fighter (pictured) and the MQ-9 UAV.

In June 2020, Boeing announced a a $439.18 million FMS contract to provide the RMAF with 24 AH-64E Apache Guardian helicopters.
