Boeing lists KC-46A success, defends programme

Boeing is pushing ahead despite hiccups in its KC-46A multirole tanker aircraft contract with the USAF and has just delivered another three on top of eight already delivered earlier in the year.

In a bid to defend the programme, the company came out swinging behind a catch cry of ‘customers trust us, we are Boeing’ and outlined ongoing progress and opportunities in the face of foreign object debris (FOD) issues and some customer criticism.
