AAR Mobility Systems has received a task order worth $27.5 million from the US Air Force to produce 463L cargo pallets, the company announced on 6 December.
The task order is part of a previously awarded contract, which brings the total cumulative value to $170.6 million.
The air force 463L uses a lightweight balsa wood core that is designed to provide advanced strength-to-weight performance.
Delivery of the cargo pallets is expected to be complete by 30 December 2020.
