Rotorcraft Asia 2019: Rotortrade expands Asia-Pacific base
International brokerage Rotortrade Services marks another year of consistency in its number of rotary-wing deliveries and orders in 2018.
Last year, the company saw 25 aircraft delivered globally accompanied by 26 sales which equate to the same amount purchased in 2017.
Rotortrade opened a new office in Australia complimenting its facilities in Singapore, Malaysia and the US. The Melbourne facility is demonstrative of the exponential growth in Oceania, the company shared in a statement, and it is looking to further its footprint in Africa and Latin America.
The helicopter deliveries of 2018 which covered almost 20 countries comprised mostly of light to medium helicopters opposed to previous years which saw the dominance of single-engine rotorcraft in the civil market.
‘Our strategy to provide high standards and assurance to our customers both on the buy and sell sides have translated in an inventory turn of below 12 months rolling average which we are very happy with especially in today’s buyer’s market,' said Philippe Lubrano, senior partner and president at Rotortrade Services.
‘We will reinvest our profits to continue our aggressive growth strategy and to continue to work for the benefit of operators worldwide,’ he added.
