New survey asks how respondants are preparing for the upcoming NTSB HEMS Air Medical Transport Hearings
ThinkThroughTools is conducting a new survey to help the Air Medical Transport industry better understand how providers are preparing for the upcoming NTSB HEMS (Helicopter EMS) Air Medical Transport Hearings from February 3-5, 2009. ThinkThroughTools is surveying a sampling of the industry to assess beliefs and practices prior to the hearings.
"Prior to the upcoming February 2009 NTSB hearings on Air Medical Transport, we want to learn how those in our industry are preparing," says Rich Obertots, ThinkThroughTools CEO. "Our survey ideally will clarify this and also perhaps trigger greater commitment to become engaged, look closer at safety and AMRM, and stimulate many in our industry to identify and fortify their high-yield behaviors and processes as well as take action on areas needing improvement."
The survey is available here
"We are asking about intended engagement with the four categories of critical care customers* because often times organizations become insular when being scrutinized and do not include essential stakeholders," adds Obertots. "Above all, as an industry we are focused on decreasing errors of consequence. We hope that our survey will help us better understand plans, perceptions, and actions stimulated by the NTSB hearings."
The results can be viewed in real time at www.ThinkThroughTools.com beginning Dec. 9, 2008. The final summary will be published on Dec. 17.
