Almost 550 helicopters representing 146 customers are sharing data with Airbus Helicopters to achieve actionable intelligence that improves operational performance and business results.

Helicopter data sources currently shared with the company include Airbus’ Helionix avionics suite; health and usage monitoring systems; and the Fleet Keeper digital logbook. New data sources have recently joined the ranks including helicopter maintenance data as a result of agreements signed by Airbus Helicopters with four MRO software providers: MRX Systems, Rusada, Ramco and Traxxall.

The connected helicopters include almost every helicopter type in Airbus’ range performing a wide variety of missions including emergency medical services, public services, tourism, training, private and business aviation, oil and gas and SAR.

Once connected, customers are given access to a core set of digital and analytics services free of charge, such as fleet activity reports. Customers seeking deeper insights can sign up for analytic and consulting services offered by HCare connected services – ranging from customer benchmarking against similar operators to predictive analytics that anticipate future events.

Airbus Helicopters’ digital service offerings include SmartForce for military helicopters and Skywise for civil helicopters, both designed to produce data driven intelligence.
