Heritage Aviation gets two H130 helicopters
India-based Heritage Aviation is expanding its fleet with the addition of two new Airbus Helicopters' H130 aircraft, it was announced on 20 April.
The two single-engine aircraft will join Heritage Aviation's existing fleet of two H125 helicopters which were inducted in 2015. They will be deployed in a range of missions, including passenger transportation missions including heli-pilgrimage, aerial work and VIP transportation missions in India.
The helicopters will be delivered with seven passenger seats, and one of the aircraft will be equipped with cargo swing equipment to carry external load for aerial work missions.
The H130 features Shrouded Fenestron tail rotor, and is equipped with anti-vibration control system. The rotorcraft's flat cabin floor allows easy and quick role change for mission flexibility. Powered by the Arriel 2D engine, the aircraft is suitable for a wide range of missions such as passenger transportation, sightseeing, medical airlift, law enforcement and search and rescue.
