Avior signs a Can$30M contract for aluminum sub-assemblies with Bell

Avior has signed a 7 year $30 million contract for aluminum sub-assemblies and detail parts for the Bell Helicopter 206, 407, 412 and 429 aircraft programs. This agreement extends the 20 year relationship between Avior and Bell, and confirms the major role Avior plays in the supply chain for Bell.

The contract represents the renewal of Avior's existing statement of work plus the addition of new welded assemblies. Avior's metal structures are flying on all commercial helicopter programs including its next generation 429 program.

Bell provided Avior with its launch program in 1987 and has fostered Avior's growth and development. A true partner and mentor that has helped shape Quebec's aerospace industry and wil lead to further technological advancements and growth in Quebec in the next twenty years."
