Saab receives order for DAM facility
Saab has received an order to supply a Deployable Aircraft Maintenance (DAM) facility to the Hungarian Air Force, the company announced on 19 December.
The DAM facility is a mobile hangar solution that will provide the Hungarian Air Force with an increased level of flexibility and reduce dependency on stationary infrastructure for aircraft maintenance of its Gripen fleet.
The solution can be deployed in less than 48 hours to enable sustainment of self-sufficient operations for extended periods of time, in any location worldwide.
The solution will be delivered in 2019.
