Vectrus Systems has received a $43 million contract from the US Army to provide installation maintenance services at US Army Garrison (USAG) Stuttgart and surrounding areas, Vectrus announced on 12 July.

The firm-fixed-price contract has a potential five year period of performance. Under the contract, Vectrus will provide administration, facility operations, preventive maintenance, repair and construction services for government-owned facilities and installed equipment.

USAG Stuttgart is headquarters for the US European Command and US Africa Command, managing five installations in the Stuttgart area including Panzer Kaserne, Patch Barracks, Kelley Barracks, Robinson Barracks and Stuttgart Army Airfield.

Chuck Prow, president and chief executive officer of Vectrus, said: ‘Stuttgart was a great win for Vectrus that will further enhance our position as a leading provider of facilities support services in Germany while increasing our current scope of work in US European Command. We look forward to providing our army client with the exceptional value, performance, and innovation that they've come to expect from Vectrus.’
