Tel-Instrument test sets for German military
Tel-Instrument Electronics Corp has received an initial order totalling $520,000 from Muirhead Avionics to provide Mode 5 test sets for the German military, the company announced on 7 February.
The order is a part of a contract awarded to Muirhead Avionics, Tel-Instrument’s European distributor, by the German military.
The seven-year procurement contract covers anticipated orders of approximately $3.5 million in total for 2019. The initial test sets will be delivered in summer 2019.
Jeff O’Hara, president and CEO, Tel-Instrument, said: ‘We are pleased to announce that the German military has selected one of TIC’s market-leading Mode 5 test sets for its flight-line testing requirements.
‘This was an important win for our company and we believe it will further our continued growth and profitability going into our next fiscal year. We continue to work on other substantial domestic and international orders that we hope to secure over the next few months.’
