Aura to provide AI solutions to DoD

​North Carolina-based company to provide AI solutions for ‘tactical power, operations and advanced manufacturing technologies’.

Aura Technologies is to design, develop, test and field AI solutions for ‘tactical power, operations and advanced manufacturing technologies’, the DoD announced on 12 March.

Work on the $49.99 million competitively procured contract from US Army Contracting Command will be completed by March 2026. 

Raleigh, North Carolina-based Aura specialises in developing AI solutions for DoD applications; advanced manufacturing technology; and intelligent power distribution.

For example, it developed an AI tool called Atticus for military logistics, focusing on cargo tracking and readiness assessments for the USAF.

In addition, the  AssuranceAI predictive maintenance solution from Aura is designed to decrease overall upkeep costs and reduce the need for spare parts in defence manufacturing.
