Czech Republic receives Tatra trucks
The Czech Republic Ministry of Defence (MoD) took delivery of 26 Tatra T-810 flatbed trucks during the first week of January, the MoD announced on 10 January.
The MoD took delivery of 588 Tatra trucks between 2008 and 2009 with eight design modifications complying with defence specifications. The newly delivered trucks will replace the older vehicles and will be assigned to 20 military units.
The Czech armed forces will receive a further 40 T-815 heavy and medium trucks with container loaders, and 41 T-815 trucks for transporting PRAM 120mm mortars by the end of May 2017.
The armed forces are equipped with nearly 3,000 T-810 and T-815 Tatra trucks in various configurations, including special armoured versions. The trucks have a chassis that can be configured with a range of attachments.
