Additional Jelcz trucks for Poland

The Polish Armament Inspectorate has signed a contract for delivery of 888 Jelcz 442.32 4x4 high mobility, medium transport trucks.

The agreement, which was signed on 18 December, covers the delivery of 473 Jelcz 442.32 2-axle, all-wheel drive medium transport trucks plus additional 415 vehicles as an option.

The contract has a total value of zł784.1 million (£208 million) and also includes logistical and operator training packages. Deliveries of new Jelcz trucks will start in 2019 and run through to 2022.

According to the Polish MoD, the first batch of 473 trucks will be delivered in the standard transport version.
