Eagle Australasia has installed a tailboom fixture for the Bell 212 and 412 helicopters, the company announced on 28 June.

The new capability will enable Eagle to carry out tailboom structural repairs on-site at its Coffs Harbour facility in Australia.

Grant Boyter, CEO, Eagle Australasia, said: ‘Our customers will now have access to even greater support for Bell 212 and 412 models. Eagle will now provide a local and economical option to carry out deeper level structural repairs in a Bell approved tailboom fixture.’

As a Bell customer service facility, Eagle Australasia supports Bell light and medium helicopters with services including scheduled inspections and major maintenance, component overhaul, aircraft on ground support, part sales, avionics upgrades, customisation and refurbishment, including painting and refinishing.
