CHC to support Centrica’s Fogelberg drilling
CHC Group has received a contract from Centrica to provide helicopter services in support of its offshore drilling operations at the Fogelberg field in the Norwegian Sea, the company announced on 7 December.
CHC will provide services with a Sikorsky S-92 helicopter from February/March 2018, between CHC's base in Kristiansund and the Fogelberg field. The drilling operation is expected to last for an initial period of approximately 100-150 days.
Mark Abbey, CHC regional director for Europe, Middle East and Africa, said: ‘We are excited to work with Centrica as their aviation partner in this project.
‘This project allows us continue to build on our decades of experience supporting oil and gas customers on the Norwegian Continental Shelf as we continue to evolve our services and technology to best meet their needs.’
