CHC announces Statoil contract
CHC will support Brazilian oil producer Statoil under a new two year contract announced on 29 January.
CHC will operate a Sikorsky S-92 helicopter for the contract, transporting crew to Statoil’s Operational Area–BM-S-8 in Santos Basis.
Flights will begin in February, with CHC to base its operations out of Jacarepaguá.
Marcelo Luiz Da Silva Soares, CHC’s regional director for Latin America, said: ‘CHC is proud to support Statoil’s operations throughout the world. We look forward to utilising our global standards and processes to take care of our new passengers in Jacarepaguá when this contract begins.’
