TechNet South 2012: Panel calls for increased industry involvement in reconstruction

This week’s TechNet Land Forces – South gathering included calls for an increased emphasis on the reconstruction phase of military operations.

The appeal for increased industry involvement in reconstruction came from a panel moderated by Maj Gen Chip Chapman, senior British military advisor to US Central Command.

The panel presented a range of issues surrounding the reconstruction process following both humanitarian relief and combat operations.
