Supreme awarded MoD civil airport refuelling contract

Supreme Group has been awarded a contract by the UK MoD to provide aviation fuel and refuelling services to 96 civilian airports worldwide.

The company announced on 6 November that the two-year contract, which includes an optional two-year extension, was confirmed on 30 September. It is expected to commence shortly.

The services provided will be ‘predominantly’ for the UK's RAF, Supreme stated but a spokesman from the service told Shephard that it is up to the privately owned civilian airports to decide who their suppliers are and that the RAF would use the standard aviation fuel made available.
