SOFINS: ​Airbus DS details A400M milestones

Airbus Defence and Space used the recent SOFINS exhibition to detail the latest achievements of its A400M aircraft and the fact the tactical transporter is moving ever closer to a more capable operational capability.

A total of 42 aircraft have now been delivered to six of the aircraft's eight current customers – neither Belgium nor Luxembourg have received any aircraft so far – representing 24% of the 174 aircraft on order so far, Damien Allard, marketing manager for the A400M explained to Shephard.

To date, France has received 11 aircraft; Germany nine; Malaysia four;Spain one; Turkey three;
