Marine Corps looks to new non-lethal munition

The United States Marine Corps is looking out to the next generation of non-lethal munitions capabilities. Service interest in these capabilities surfaced in a combined program synopsis and solicitation released by Marine Corps Systems Command

According to the 8 March release, the Marines, as lead for the Joint [service] Non-Lethal Weapons Directorate, are seeking engineering and technical expertise ‘in the development of a next- generation long range, long duration, tether-less Human Electro-Muscular Incapacitation (HEMI) munition’.
