ManTech has received a contract to provide vehicle maintenance and support services for engineering, acquisition and life-cycle sustainment of US Marine Corps (USMC) tactical vehicles, the company announced on 11 April.

Under the $22.5 million contract, ManTech will be responsible for research and development, design, acquisition and full life-cycle management of light, medium and heavy tactical vehicles, as well as legacy wheeled vehicle systems and ancillary equipment used by the USMC.

As part of the life cycle management process, design upgrades will help to enhance safety and protection measures along with improving vehicle fuel efficiency and performance.

Daniel Keefe, president and chief operating officer, ManTech’s Mission Solutions and Services group, said: ‘ManTech’s success in providing enhanced military vehicles is based on decades of experience in ensuring that our men and women in uniform have the most secure, reliable and combat-ready transport available.

‘Through ongoing test and evaluation, we deliver vehicles that undergo continuous improvement to stay ahead of emerging threats.’
