MAN trucks to revolutionise ADF logistics

The Australian Army’s Brisbane-based 7th Brigade and supporting units in southeast Queensland recently began receiving new trucks from Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles Australia (RMMVA), and the rollout of 2,536 trucks will help revolutionise the way the Australian Defence Force (ADF) performs logistics.

An ADF spokesperson told Shephard, ‘The Land 121 Phase 3B capability will fundamentally change the way the ADF conducts distribution operations. The new capability provides significantly enhanced protection and improved crew safety, high off-road mobility and the ability for networked communications.’
