The KeyW Holding Corporation has received a position on the US Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic contract for providing tagging, tracking and locating (TTL) electronic equipment and support services to joint commands within the US Department of Defence.

The five-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract - awarded to six companies - has an initial value of $182 million.

The contract will see KeyW compete for task orders to acquire, field and perform logistics support for TTL equipment designed for ground, air and maritime tracking. The contract also comprises engineering services, including modification and customisation of equipment, to meet global mission requirements.

Kirk Herdman, executive vice president, corporate strategy and business development, KeyW, said: ‘This is a great opportunity for KeyW to further support the navy's intelligence, reconnaissance and surveillance requirements by delivering quick-reaction custom hardware and next-generation software solutions to meet specific mission needs around the world.’
