Terma, Scandinavian Avionics enter partnership
Terma and Scandinavian Avionics have partnered to form an avionics test centre in Denmark, Terma announced on 12 March.
Under the partnership, the companies will initially provide a proposal to support F-35 avionics for the F-35 programme office. As a next step, the companies will seek mutual maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) opportunities for the EH-101 helicopter, UH-60R Seahawk and C-130 transport aircraft.
Terma and Scandinavian Avionics will jointly invest in depot capability and look to establish the facility in close cooperation with the Denmark Ministry of Defence.
Jens Maaløe, president and CEO, Terma, said: ‘We both aim to enhance and grow our MRO capabilities towards the F-35 programme with specific focus on the test and repair of F-35 avionics.’
