ROKAF introduces second MRTT aerial tanker
The Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) has introduced its second A330 Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aerial refuelling aircraft, local media reports.
The new MRTT tanker, known within the ROKAF as the KC-330 Cygnus, will be deployed following quality inspection and trials.
The MRTT has a maximum cruise altitude of 12,600m, and a maximum range of 15,320km with a maximum fuel load of 245,000lbs. The aircraft can carry approximately 300 crew members and 47t of freight.
The first KC-330 was delivered to the ROKAF in November 2018.
