Kellstrom Defense acquires WAM
Kellstrom Defense Aerospace has acquired California-based Williams Aerospace and Manufacturing (WAM), the company announced on 7 January.
WAM has developed a range of tooling for the manufacture of complex defence aircraft parts and is also involved in thermoplastic moulding, CNC machining and the integration of aerospace and defence aftermarket components.
The combination of WAM manufacturing expertise and KDA product design engineering will enable Kellstrom to better support legacy spare parts solutions for global military aircraft operators.
