Gentex to introduces new protective eyewear
Gentex Corporation has developed the Ops-Core Mk1 performance protective eyewear solution for defence and security forces, the company announced on 18 January
The glasses have been designed to meet the need for ruggedised, mission configurable protective eyewear for elite forces.
The aluminium metal frames are available with interchangeable protective lenses to support a wide range of missions. Current lens options include clear, tint, clear and tint (dual lenses), laser dazzle and high contrast. All these options have been tested in accordance with ANSI Z87.1. Future lens options will include advanced laser eye protection, ballistic and advanced variable light transmission technologies.
