AUSA 2012: SYS unveils mobile medical unit

Israeli company SYS Technologies has developed a portable medical unit that provides a sterile environment for surgeries in war zones and during humanitarian crisis.

Shown to the public for the first time at the AUSA exhibition in Washington DC, the Medi-T Clean Environment System can be packed in three hand carried bags for a total weight of 93kg.

SYS Technologies spokesman Sagi Unger said that system was able to be inflated in minutes and uses positive pressure technology to create a clean and isolated environment. Twenty-six HEPA filters evenly distribute clean air inside the unit and the air volume is
