Blue Sky Network displayed the new Hawkeye 7200 on-board aircraft tracking system at Heli-Expo 2015.

The Hawkeye 7200 is a portable all-in-one tracking solution with a built-in battery and antenna. The Hawkeye is able to interface with the company’s mobile apps which can be accessed on IPads or IPhones for fleet management on-the-go.

‘We have a mobile app for two way messaging and custom forums,’ said Nick Tucky, director of sales at Blue Sky Network.

The mobile apps allow for two way messaging from the aircraft to the ground and visa-versa.

‘Because there is a lot of stakeholders in aviation it is very important to be able to track aircraft,’ said Tucky, ‘Our goal is to give them peace of mind of safety and security, knowing where that aircraft is at all times.’

Hawkeye has Bluetooth capabaility enabling it to be connected to an IPad, it also uses SkyRouter which is Blue Sky Network’s secure online web portal.
